This research explored the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and the Internet of Things (IoT) across various domains, including cybersecurity, healthcare, education, and monitoring systems. The study aimed to identify emerging trends, evaluate current approaches, and discuss their implications. Key focus areas include IoT-enabled plant nutrition monitoring, ML-driven sales prediction, and AI-powered cybersecurity solutions, such as GPT-2 for zero-day threat detection. The findings highlighted innovative applications, such as bibliometric analyses of intelligent tutoring systems for educational modernization, IoT applications in agriculture, and AI-driven initiatives for digital financial inclusion. Critical challenges, particularly scalability and data protection, were also identified. This discussion emphasized the transformative potential of these technologies in enhancing decision-making, optimizing processes, and addressing societal challenges like cybersecurity and digital inclusion. In conclusion, IoT, ML, and AI play a pivotal role in driving innovation across industries. Future research should prioritize multidisciplinary approaches to tackle existing challenges and maximize the potential of these technologies. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.
