This chapter explores the strategic alignment of accreditation with institutional vision, emphasizing its transformation from a compliance- oriented mechanism into a core component of long- term excellence. Drawing upon global case studies, stra- tegic management theories, and evolving accreditation frameworks, the discussion presents accreditation as a proactive driver of institutional resilience, innovation, and stakeholder trust. Key components such as strategic planning, quality assurance integration, resource mobilization, and feedback loops are examined as essential elements of an adaptable and forward- looking accreditation system. The text also highlights emerging trends, including digital transformation, ESG imperatives, and stakeholder co- creation.
