This study aims to see what factors influence the dropout rate for children of compulsory education in the province of South Sulawesi. The factors studied indicated an influence in the region so that in this study the Spatial Error Model (SEM) regression was used. The data used in the study is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency of South Sulawesi Province in 2018. This study was conducted to determine the spatial error model (SEM) in the dropout rate data that occurred in the province of South Sulawesi, as well as to analyze the factors that influence the dropout rate. school for compulsory school age children.
