Cultural intelligence (CQ) is a crucial skill for students and teachers in today's globalized world. It involves cognitive, metacognitive, motivational, and behavioral elements and is essential for effective interaction in multicultural settings. This chapter emphasizes the role of CQ in education, focusing on inclusive classrooms, global citizenship, and successful learners in multicultural societies. It suggests incorporating CQ into teaching strategies, using multicultural lesson planning, project-based learning, and culture-based evaluation techniques. Technology, such as social media and artificial intelligence, can facilitate CQ development. Teachers should set behavioral guidelines promoting respect and student participation in cultural dialogues.
