The national movement of statistical literacy in Indonesia needs to be initiated and implemented. It is important to realize the noble ideals of the Indonesian nation to educate the nation's life. We cannot avoid reading statistical data presentation. Reading newspapers, magazines, and other papers will undoubtedly always find data presentation. Moreover, if we read scientific papers it is very difficult to avoid the presentation of data, both in the form of descriptive statistics and even in the form of inferential statistics. The need for the ability to read and interpret statistical data is not limited to a particular community, but to almost all communities within the nation. Therefore, the idea to promote the national movement for statistical literacy in Indonesia is presented in this conference forum. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
