Abstract

Nd(Fe)0.3Ba1.7Cu3O7-δ oxide materials have successfully been synthesized with calcination temperature of 950°C, the sintering temperature of 975°C, and an annealing temperature of 450°C, respectively. The XRD analysis showed the formation of phases Nd1Ba2Cu3O6.9. Furthermore, the Rietveld analysis using Rietica software showed that Fe atom substitutes Ba atom. Besides, the crystal structure was orthorhombic with the lattice parameters a = 3.8945Å, b = 3.9110Å, and c = 11.7171Å, and the value of the goodness of fit (Gof) obtained was 1.572. However, the substitution of Fe atom in the NdBaCuO oxide material has affected the volume and density of the unit cell. © 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
