Society 5.0 demands educational frameworks that integrate technology with a human-centered approach to promote societal well-being. This chapter explores how game-based learning (GBL) and artificial intelligence (AI) foster creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Grounded in constructivist and experiential learning theories, GBL transforms passive education into active engagement, while AI personalizes learning through adaptive content and immersive technologies like virtual and augmented reality. Curriculum design emphasizes digital literacy, global awareness, and ethical considerations, addressing challenges such as the digital divide and data privacy. Emerging trends include gamified lifelong learning and workforce training, supported by strong policies, funding, and research. Case studies demonstrate how AI and GBL create inclusive, adaptive educational environments aligned with Society 5.0's vision. © 2026 by IGI Global Scientific Publishing. All rights reserved.
