This chapter examines the convergence of language, digital rights, and communication competencies to foster responsible online participation. As digital communication advances, so do the linguistic practices and ethical considerations that influence interactions on global platforms. The research emphasizes the significance of language in constructing digital identities, promoting inclusivity, and maneuvering through varied cultural situations. It also analyzes the importance of digital rights-encompassing freedom of expression, privacy, and data protection-and underscores the necessity for ethical communication practices. Proposed strategies include multilingual inclusiveness, proficient writing, empathic communication, and media literacy to enable users to navigate digital settings responsibly. The study promotes digital citizenship education and the safeguarding of linguistic diversity as vital elements for fostering equitable and inclusive digital environments through multidisciplinary perspectives. © 2026, IGI Global Scientific Publishing.
