The need for access to clean water, an essential aspect of human life, is the main focus of this article. This article identifies the problem and shows the role of the Public Smart Dispenser (PSD) as a potential solution. In the context that everyone can find ready-To-drink water that is readily available anywhere and has a QRIS electronic technology payment system on the PSD allows people to easily access clean drinking water. This study uses the UTAUT model to understand user behavior related to QRIS acceptance in payment at PSDs of cashless payment technology literature and presents a theoretical framework that supports these findings. The study involved 380 respondents who expressed high support (±90%) towards using QRIS as a payment method at PSD. Data analysis yielded robust percentages, measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of QRIS in the context of PSD. These results, also show that the application of QRIS as a payment method is also very helpful in the process of implementing the Public Smart Dispenser business so that it becomes an alternative payment for people who want to consume mineral water directly. © 2025 Author(s).
