Abstract

This study's goal was to ascertain whether or not Jenni Speak's integrated language learning methodologies may improve students’ speaking abilities. Forty students from Universitas Negeri Makassar's English Language Study Program's 02 class participated in a controlled study. Two groups of students were formed: an experimental group that was trained in Jenni Speak and a control group that was not. Using a speaking test that covered topics like pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension, the students’ speaking abilities were evaluated. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group's speaking ability when compared to the control group. According to the results, Jenni Speak is a useful tool for improving kids’ speaking abilities, especially in aspects of pronunciation and fluency. The study highlights the importance of integrating Jenni Speak into language learning curricula to improve students’ overall speaking proficiency. The findings highlight the necessity for creative and captivating approaches to improve students’ speaking abilities and have important ramifications for language instruction and learning. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
