This study aims to develop Pop-Up Book media based on Project-Based Learning to improve narrative essay writing skills in Indonesian language learning subjects for elementary school students. The research method is R&D (Research and development) using the ADDIE approach model. Pop-Up Book learning media is developed through 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this study were 30 students. The data analysis technique was used, namely qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data describes the results of media development by conducting observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Quantitative data to see the improvement of narrative essay writing skills using Pop-Up Book media. Based on the results of one-to-one trials, the results obtained were 92.83%, the results for small group trials were 82.86%, and the effects of small group trials were 82.96%. This research involved several experts, namely material experts and media experts. The results of the media validation test amounted to 93.90%, and the results of the material expert test amounted to 93.90%. Based on the study results, Pop-Up Book media based on project-based learning can be considered one of the learning media that is valid and feasible to be implemented in the learning process in elementary schools learning Indonesian. © 2025 American Institute of Physics Inc..
