Abstract

This study adopts a mental model approach to investigate the influence of entrepreneurship education on Generation Z’s entrepreneurial readiness mediated by growth mindset and positive psychological capital. This research used a quantitative approach involving 700 student respondents with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) data analysis techniques. This study succeeded in investigating that entrepreneurship education can affect the readiness of the entrepreneurial students of Generation Z through mediation of growth mindset and positive psychological capital. The findings of this research help expand and develop the role of psychological aspects such as growth mindset and positive psychological capital as mental models in the context of entrepreneurship education in higher education. © 2025 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
