Misconception of Using Certainty of Response Index (CRI) on Direct Electricity (DC) during Online Learning

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with quantitative methods that aims to provide an overview of the misconceptions of class XII MIPA students at SMAN 5 Pinrang in learning physics for the academic year 2021/2022. The variables in this study are the students' misconceptions. The research sample is the students of class XII MIPA 5, totaling 26 people. Research data obtained by giving a test. The test instrument used is an essay test with a Certainty Of Response Index (CRI) scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that there are misconceptions by students of SMAN 5 Pinrang on direct electricity (DC) material during online learning. Misconceptions were identified in all the given sub-materials, where the highest level of misconception in the electric current sub-material is 42%. Misconceptions are in the low category with a percentage of misconceptions of 29, 9%. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
